Short version: we pass your request to independent contractors. They quote, contract and do the work. We don't. Last updated October 2026.
What this service is
Punta Gorda Seawall Repair is a free quote-request and referral service for waterfront owners in Charlotte County, Florida. You describe a seawall, dock or boat lift job, and we pass the request to independent local marine contractors who may quote it.
By using the site or sending a request you accept these terms. If you don't, please don't use the form.

Contractors are independent
The contractors who receive your request are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents or subcontractors, and we don't direct their work. Any agreement to do work is a contract between you and the contractor, on their terms.
Before you sign, check the contractor's Florida licence with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), ask who pulls each permit and get the scope in writing. Permits and licences are matters between you and the contractor, and we don't verify either.
No guarantees
We don't guarantee any contractor's price, timing, quality or workmanship, or the result of any job. A quote or estimate from a contractor is the contractor's own figure for your site, not an offer from us, and it is not binding unless it is written into a contract you and the contractor both sign.
Prices on this site are dated market figures reported by others, not our rates. Nothing here is a quote.
The information on this site
The pages are general information about seawalls, permits and local rules. They are not legal, engineering or permitting advice. Rules, schedules and prices change, and we may be out of date or wrong. Confirm anything that matters with the City of Punta Gorda, Charlotte County, FDEP, the Army Corps of Engineers or your contractor.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make from this information or for anything a contractor does or fails to do. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that can't be limited by law.
Your requests and your details
Send accurate details, and only requests you are entitled to make for the property. We may decline to pass on or may stop passing on a request, for example if it looks like spam. How we handle your details is in the privacy notice. Photos on this site are credited on the image credits page.
